Not-for-profit communications and fundraising campaigns
Biased helps not-for-profits create campaigns that make the need clear, reach beyond existing supporters and give people a compelling reason to donate, volunteer, participate or partner.
Explain what is needed, why it matters now and what support will make possible.
Carry the campaign through media, partners, supporters and the organisation’s own channels.
Make the request for donations, volunteers, participation or partnership clear and compelling.
Trusted by not-for-profit clients to create impact

Not-for-profit teams rarely lack commitment. The challenge is turning complex work, urgent needs and competing priorities into a campaign people can quickly understand and support.
Senior involvement
Work directly with experienced people who understand the organisation, challenge the message and remain involved throughout delivery.
Campaigns tied to action
Every campaign is organised around what people need to do next donate, volunteer, attend, participate, advocate or partner.
Practical delivery
Biased develops the messages, media materials, campaign content and supporting communications needed to launch the work.
Connected communications
Keep leadership, fundraising teams, spokespeople, partners and public channels working from the same campaign position.
Bring Biased in when the campaign needs to do more than raise awareness

A fundraising appeal needs a stronger case
The organisation knows what it needs to fund but has not yet turned that need into a clear and persuasive public campaign.
Awareness is not producing action
People may recognise the organisation or understand the issue, but they are not donating, volunteering, registering or taking the next step.
The message has become complicated
Programs, statistics, internal language and competing priorities are making it difficult to explain what matters most.
An important campaign is approaching
A fundraising appeal, awareness period, report, event, anniversary or major milestone needs a focused position and coordinated launch.
The organisation needs new supporters
The existing community is engaged, but the campaign needs to move beyond familiar donors, volunteers and partners.
The internal team needs more capacity
Fundraising, marketing and communications teams are already managing ongoing work but cannot allow an important campaign to lose momentum.
Make the campaign easier to understand, support and share
Not-for-profit marketing should lead somewhere.
Biased establishes what the campaign needs people to understand, who needs to hear it and what action each audience should take.

Fundraising support where the campaign meets the public
Biased focuses on the public-facing part of fundraising: how the need is explained, how the campaign reaches people and how supporters are asked to respond. The work can include the case for support, campaign messaging, media relations, public content, supporter communications and coordination through to launch.
Biased does not replace the organisation’s fundraising systems, donor management processes, grant writers or major-gift specialists. Where other specialists are involved, Biased works alongside them to keep the public campaign clear, connected and consistent.
