Dating back to the 1800s, it’s widely speculated that the Tequila Daisy cocktail came before the margarita. In fact, “Margarita” translates to “Daisy” in Spanish.

Tequila Daisy is Sydney’s new home of waterfront Mexican and good times. Located in Sydney’s waterfront precinct of Barangaroo, Tequila Daisy is co-owned by executive chef Hamish Ingham and sommelier Rebecca Lines.

Bright and bustling, the Tequila Daisy space provides a light-hearted and relaxed spot to sit back and enjoy a meal. Inspired by the diverse flavours of Mexico, Tequila Daisy’s menu takes a light, fresh approach, enhanced by a deep respect and understanding for Australian produce.

The drinks list is extensive with more than 100 tequila and mezcals available by the glass, cocktails including the namesake Tequila Daisy, and a selection of beer and wine to suit all tastes.
